| April Update March was a good month for Terri and I as we marked our first book signing tour. I am still amazed at the time involved in setting up such a tour and the many places that Murphy's Law can take effect. You know Murphy's Law--if it can happen, it will. But we also were flexible, so that the glitches became minor events. Some things you never think about, like the hotel that changed its name between the day reservations are made and the time we arrived. We drove past and around that hotel so many times that to tell you might start a belly laugh that would be very difficult to stop. Then, it was a lousy hotel, but arriving late at night after a long signing and a longer drive leaves few options. We were welcomed by customers at our signings in the Tampa area, Satellite Beach, then in good old Niceville (my town), all in Florida. Terri and I also sold books at Augusta State University where we also attended the Sandhills Writers Conference. Before leaving the Augusta area, we did a signing at Fort Gordon and enjoyed talking to many soldiers who had recently returned from Iraq and some who were on their way. What a terrific group of people they are. We can all be very proud of our military men and women. Their welcome and openess with us were wonderful. While we haven't found a new publisher for Immoral Symphony, we feel encouraged by the wonderful comments and critiques we have received from our readers. We thank you all for your loyalty. To answer one of our most asked question--when is the sequel coming out--we are both wrapped up with bringing a new individual novel to publication, but that is ending soon and we will be emphasizing the sequel, Final Symphony. Thanks for your patience. Terri and I wish you a happy start to Spring and sunshine in your life. Please go to our signings page and see our plans for the coming months. If you get a chance go to www.terridulong.com and www.billbonnerauthor.com and read about our latest novels. All the best and dare to dream. |
