| JUNE UPDATE | ||||||||
| The Internet is a wonderful thing. I am constantly amazed by the way information about Immoral Symphony grows on the net. For example, if you look around the net you can find that our book is available to people in the UK, Canada, Germany, France, Japan, Australia and I am sure many other countries. It gives me a good feeling to see sites where our book price is compared at Barnes and Noble, Book-A-Million, Walmart, Target, Amazon, WaldonBooks, and on and on. Maybe the best thing I've seen is that someone will read our book and post a review on a website that I had never heard of, but it becomes available to many more readers. One that Terri and I liked at 20th-Century-History-Books.com said, "I find it difficult to find a book that will demand my interest. Immoral Symphony captivated my interest from cover to cover." Another neat thing is the way online books sales sites tell you what people who have purchased Immoral Symphony also read. I am happy to say in this category, we are grouped with Angels and Demons, Digital Fortress and The DaVinci Code by Dan Brown; Bleachers by John Grisham; and Odd Thomas by Dean R. Koontz. Pretty good company--so how come we aren't on the NY Times Best Seller list, too? I'm sure I don't know, but we will continue to work to gain readership. Having said that, Terri and I are scheduled for twelve book signings in June and July. Please check our updated signing schedule to see the details. You probably can tell that I am enthused about our readership as we work on the sequel to Immoral Symphony, Final Symphony. Book store chains that previously didn't want to talk to us now willingly sign us up to do a signing. I like this trend and I think the Internet has had a role in our acceptance. A little luck certainly helps, too. Like Will Rogers said, "The harder I work, the luckier I get." I hope these words find you well. Give your friends your most valuable asset--your time. They will always remember you for it. Terri and I wish you a happy and healthy month. Remember our men and women in uniform. Dare to dream. |
