| December/January Update | ||||||||
| Hello Friends, It has been a very busy month for Terri and I, but one of the best events of my life was the autographing of the pre-publication orders of Immoral Symphony. We invaded a Christmas-clogged post office in Ocala, Florida and to the dismay of the many patrons in there, we began carrying in box loads of packaged books. When our turn came, we monopolized a clerk for over an hour as he weighed and applied stamps to the boxes. The post office patrons turned out to be very nice to us. One woman asked what we had in the boxes and Terri explained. Soon we had folks leaving the post office wishing us well and inquiring what our story was about. Maybe it was the Christmas spirit and maybe it was the good nature of many people coming out. Thankfully, the first books arrived at their destinations within two working days. Bob Collins of Gardenia Press is making the final adjustments to Amazon.com for our space in their listing. We are listed now, but our cover graphic isn't there yet and there are some minor corrections to be made. The initial supply to Ingram, the major distributor to book stores, should be made shortly. In a short time, our book can be ordered from any bookstore in the country and using Amazon's overseas sites (such as Amazon.uk.com) can also be ordered and delivered overseas. |

| We have been very lucky to receive three excellent reviews before publication and the full version of one of them will be on bookreviewcafe.com in the near future. Terri and I would be very pleased if you would take a moment to let us know what you think about Immoral Symphony by coming to this site and signing our guest book or sending us an e-mail. That applies also if you find it less than what you expected. Your opinions are important to us. The sequel to Immoral Symphony, Final Symphony, has been started. Mark and Maddie will be shocked to find that a small boy has predicted the end of the world. What is more interesting is who is behind all of this. We are already enjoying writing it. At the same time, we are trying to find a home for our first novel written together, Seeing Darkness. After an initial, exhilarating opportunity where a large international production company considered our manuscript for option, we have heard nothing new. Our agent at the time explained that these things take time--easy for her to say! So we have our fingers crossed. In the meantime, we are searching for a new publisher. In late January, Terri and I are planning a signing tour in central and southern Florida. We won't be able to firm up the plan until the book is fully stocked at all the distributors. Everything takes time and one needs to be patient in this business. We have also been invited to speak at a professional woman's club and at a library book club. Neither of these dates has been firmed up, but we will keep you informed on this website. We wish to thank all of you for your wonderful support and hope that Christmas, Hanukkah, and New Year make wonderful memories for you. Be safe and enjoy the holidays and holydays in your own way. Dare to dream--then live your dreams. All the best from Bill and Terri |
